For some reason I can't update this on the iPad bc it won't scroll down inside the box...confusing, not even going to try to explain. Lol whenever I can get wifi on my laptop will get on this thread!

Not sure if you figured it out, but if you scroll with 2 fingers in the box it should work. I would get frustrated on other websites because of the same problem until my smartypants hubby figured it out. lol.gif

* EDD: 04/16/11 according to the u/s techs, 04/23/11 by ovulation and according to my homebirth midwife.  My Mama friends all tell me to expect the later date, that u/s dating is often wrong.
* Name: Heather
* Age: 41
* Location: San Diego

* How long it took to you to get your BFP: We weren't trying at all, this was a case of one isolated night after too many drinks and condom apathy.  Sheepish.gif  I mean, seriously, I'm forty-freaken-one!  Who knew I was still as fertile as a 19-year-old?
* What number child is this for you: first
* Family: Just me and baby's daddy, not married but been together more than 5 years

* Baby's gender: Boy
* Names you like: We decided on Tosh David when I was just 6 weeks along - thankfully he is a boy, because we really struggled with girl names
* Birth plans/preferences: Home birth unless our wee one has other plans
* Anything else you'd like to share: I never planned to become a mother, so I didn't pay attention to friends when they talked about their pregnancies.  We are thrilled, but have a lot to learn and I'm feeling very behind the curve here.

Hey there -- I just realized I'm still on the April DDC Roster with a due date on the 20th.  I lost the baby in August, and I just haven't been back to update.  Would you please remove me from the list?  Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your loss, famille_huggins.  I know it's been a while - I hope you have been doing well.  Hugs.

post #257 of 260

* EDD: April 2

* Name: Christi

* Age: 36
* Location: Indiana
* What number child is this for you: 5
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Shawn (husband), Taylor (17), Caleb (15), Gabriella (4), Abigail (21 months), Climby (cat), Bailey and Lucky (dogs), 26 chicks and poults
* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): Boy
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Anthony Bear (We will call him Bear but is named after his paternal grandfather)
* Birth plans/preferences: In local hospital, no other options for us around here, and husband is not for home birth. I am hoping for as natural a birth as possible. My first 2 were induced and I was given a narcotic pain reliever, as I was really young and didn't know better. My last 2 were without pain medication, but in hospitals, with Gabriella being induced with cervical gel and water being broken, Abigail was born 30 minutes after the dr broke my water at 4 1/2 cm.
* Anything else you'd like to share: I am hoping to wait until I am farther in labor and avoid much of the monitoring and iv's and being strapped down to a bed. But, I live 15 minutes away from the hospital and labor may come quick with my 5th. Any advice is welcome!

Hi, Everyone!

I'm new to the site (though late in my pregnancy).  Loving everything I've seen/read so far.

Here's my info:

Baby's Gender: it's a surprise!  I think boy, DH thinks girl.  Everyone else is about 50-50 on the guesses. :)

Anything else you'd like to share: Thanks for all the great information and support!!!

Hello all!!
* EDD: April 2, (8th by Ultrasound)
* Name: Sarah
* Age: 27
* Location: Central Arkansas
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 3 PP cycles; 15 mo PP (not planning it that soon, but a welcome blessing)
* What number child is this for you: 3rd
* Family: DH Josh, DS J 4, DD H 2
* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): girl per ultrasound
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Anna Beth
* Birth plans/preferences: Home, water birth (2nd time yay!!)

* Anything else you'd like to share: I have only minimally scanned this DDC since I conceived, as I am very busy with my two LO's, and try not to let myself get sucked into cyberspace too badly, but now that I am post-date, I need some encouragement from those who are in my same boat, rather than all those folks in real life who keep asking me when I'll have the baby and telling me to just take some castor oil (which I can't believe I actually did, tho reluctantly, just 2 days ago, without results!). I am ready to have this sweet child in my arms, but I am now thinking she may hold out until the full moon on the 18th, as my other 2 did! This caused the first 2 to be 4 & 9 days over, but this would be 17 days over if it's the case this time, so I'm hoping for sooner, but only the Lord knows!!
