Hi!! I decided it was silly of me to be in the March club since I am sure to have an April baby. Hope no one minds me joining up over here!

* EDD: March 26
* Sara
* 32
* Portland, OR
* This was both a surprise as well as planned. Our first "try" was in early July, and it managed to take the first time. So two weeks later I've got a + to show for it. I was somehow shocked, even though it was what we were aiming for.
* This will be our second kid.
* I have a husband, a 5 year old son, and a couple of outdoor cats.
* I'm hoping for a girl
* I haven't thought about names yet, even though over the last 5 years I have come across so many that I thought were awesome. Of course I don't remember a single one of them now.
* We had a hospital birth with our first son. I have only researched my other options so far as noting that our insurance doesn't cover any midwives who practice outside of hospitals, no birth centers, etc. We will probably go with a birth center or home birth this time around, but no details yet.
* My favorite blogs aren't really pregnancy or birth related.
* I'm a working mom, though lucky to be able to keep my schedule at 60%fte. My son is starting Kindergarten in September.

EDD: March 30, 2011
Name: Molly
Age: 30
Location: Washington State
How long it took to you to get your BFP: A Surprise baby!
What number child is this for you: 4
Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH, DD1 (5yo), DD2 (2yo), DD3 (1yo)
Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): I'd put bets on a girl, but who knows!?
Names you like (& are willing to share): We always have lots of girl names, but no boy names we love...
Birth plans/preferences: This will be homebirth #4

I've been at the tail end of DDC with all my kiddos -- and with DD3, I was 42 weeks and halfway into the next month before she was born... so I'm excited to join the April DDC and not be the very last to have my baby!

* What number child is this for you: 4

* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH, dd, 2 ds, 3 dogs

* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): my dd really wants a girl, my youngest ds has also declared that it is a girl baby, we shall see. I'm happy with healthy

Thanks, but it was my fault. When I copied and pasted the format I didn't change the age.

* EDD: 4/15/11
* Name: Cassidy
* Age: 25
* Location: Houston, TX
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: We caught the 1st PP egg
* What number child is this for you: 2nd
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH (25), DD (15 mo), 2 dogs
* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): Of course I just want a healthy baby, but another girl would be wonderful
* Names you like (& are willing to share): no idea yet
* Birth plans/preferences: midwife attended homebirth. DD was an all natural intervention-free hospital birth with a midwife. This time I just want to stay home!
* Anything else you'd like to share: I am thrilled to be due in April again!! I loved giving birth in the spring My EDD is 11 days before DD's 2nd birthday.

* EDD: 4/6/2011

* Name: Ali (33)

* Location: Midlothian, VA

* How long to catch the egg: We have not been preventing since 4 months pp from DD. So, that makes 8 months of trying.

*What number of child: 2

* Family: DH (33), DD (1), Kitty (10), Doggy (2 1/2)

* Baby Gender (hopes and Guesses): I wanted a boy w/ DD and got her, my LOVE! I would love to have another daughter, but b/c of my want for it, we are assuming it will be a boy.

* Names: We have had a girl name since DD, but boy names are hard for us to agree on.

* Birth Plan/preference: Went to go all natural last time w/ our MW and ended up an emergency C-section. I'm going back to my mW again, but honestly don't know what I want as a birth quite yet.

Anything else to share: WE ARE SOOOOO FLIPPIN EXCITED TO BE ADDING OUR LAST MEMBER AND COMPLETING OUR FAMILY!!

* EDD: 4/12/2011

* Name: Carolina Kel, or just Kel

* Age: 33

* Location: North Carolina

* How long it took to you to get your BFP: We tried in June, but weren't really expecting anything because my IUD came out that month and I was on a roadtrip when the O-train came to the station. So we really tried hard last month!

* What number child is this for you: #2

* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH - RJ, BF (and the baby's father) - Trystan, DS - Eirik 18mos, and 2 awesome cats, Fast Eddie and Lady Bird

* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): We're guessing that it's going to be a boy, but there are wishes all around for a little girl

* Names you like (& are willing to share): Eitri Rós for a boy, and Skadi Ayn for a girl... But that's all open to debate!

* Birth plans/preferences: Sadly, my last pregnancy was high-risk with DS being born premature, so I am looking at hospital birth and another C-section because our hospital does not do VBAC's

* Anything else you'd like to share: Everyone in Clan R-K is totally looking forward to our little viking or valkyrie!

*deep breath* still in that "is this really happening" phase...
* EDD: 4/15/11 with TWINS!
* Name: babygrey
* Age: 30
* Location: Intermountain west
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 9 months, 3 rounds of Clomid/IUI. We were planning to move on to injectables next month...
* What number child is this for you: lucky number 3 AND 4!!
* Family DH, DS (9yo), DD(15 mos), some birds, some frogs and some cats
* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): W/ my other two, I just knew. This time... I'm still waiting for the shock to wear off
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Boy- Vale and/or Asher... We have a serious girl name problem.
* Birth plans/preferences: hm. When I thought I was having a singleton, I was for sure at home, mw attended. Looking for a MW experienced w/ twins before I decide
* Anything else you'd like to share: I have bad endo and the rush to bring this baby into our family was, in part, r/t some severe scarring of my tubes recently. Sort of a 'now or never'. We were told by RE that we probably would end up at IVF, so I'm really, really, really shocked here, as 'now' has arrived.

* The EDD is 04/18/2011

I am Jill (30) and have been with DW for seven years. This is our second child, as DD is 19 months. DW and I would both be excited for a boy, but it's not that big of a deal. We'll be thrilled no matter what the sex. We had a homebirth with DD and plan to do the same, as long as everyone remains healthy and there's only one baby in here (fertility tx).
