Hi everyone. Tentatively dipping my toe in here.

Due date calculators put my EDD in mid-April but, realistically, birth date will be the very end of April or maybe even early May (last baby was exactly 10 months from LMP date to birth, at 42w5d, first was extracted at 41w5d).

This is completely unplanned, surprise baby #3 for us; we are still rather in shock.

One husband, one son (5 yrs), one daughter (2 yrs)

Haven't spoken to my midwife yet, but desperately hoping she will be available. She was indispensable to my HBAC, and I can't imagine birthing without her.

* EDD: April 21, 2011
* Name: Claire
* Age: 26
* Location: Fayetteville, NC
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 5 cycles
* What number child is this for you: #2
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): dh and ds, 2 dogs, 7 chickens
* Names you like (& are willing to share): have tossed around Charles Niall and Hugh Davis for boys. Caroline Ruth, or Caroline Grace maybe for girls. Nothing is really set in stone yet.
* Birth plans/preferences: we'd like a homebirth this time, and I'm trying to get some interviews set up with a couple of local midwives. But our insurance covers 100% so it's going to come down to whether or not we can afford it.
* Anything else you'd like to share: nope

Ambystoma is out.

* EDD: Sometime in April, I'm not going any more specific than that with anyone, so I don't get a million "Have you had the baby yet???" calls. For the purposes of the board, we'll say end of April.
* Name: Mandy
* Age: 27
* Location: Franklin, OH
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: Two years! We did 10 rounds of various fertility meds and four IUIs. And finally it worked!!!
* What number child is this for you: #2 for me, #1 for DH.
* Family: DH is 29 and DS is 5. I think DS is more excited than any of us about the new addition. We also have a beagle, Angel, and two rats, Pinky and Nikki.
* Baby's gender: We're not finding out. DH and DS both want a boy. I don't care either way. I'm just thrilled to be having a baby. I have DS to buy cute boy clothes for and DN to buy cute girl clothes for, so I'm set either way.
* Names you like: For a boy, we're thinking Jack Tiberius. For a girl, the middle name will be Kathleen and for the first name we're thinking either Eliana or Gwenhwyfar (pronounced Guenevere).
* Birth plans/preferences: I'm planning a UBAC as long as the baby's a vertex singleton. Any other variations and we're most like going to have to go to the hospital.
* Anything else you'd like to share: April seems like such a long way away, but I'm sure when it comes down to it, I'll say, "Man, that went quickly!"

Introduction!

I am a SAHM of two girls, ages 4 1/2 and 2. We're 6 weeks pregnant with number 3!

* EDD: Beginning of April
* Name: Kelly
* Age: 31
* Location: Central Texas
* Birth plans/preferences: We've had both our girls naturally, both at a hospital and in a birth center. We're shooting for a home birth this time around!

I also have an umbilical hernia, which I'm hoping won't interfere too much!

* EDD: April 25
* Name: Rachel
* Age: 27, 28 in a few weeks.
* Location: Corvallis, OR
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: 13 cycles, 14 months, 3 miscarriages - this was the cycle directly after a m/c.
* What number child is this for you: #5 or #2 depending if you count our angel babies.
* Family: DH is 28 and DD is 2
* Baby's gender: We will probably find out but not tell anyone IRL.
* Names you like: Not a clue - just hoping for a healthy baby and mama at the end of this.
* Birth plans/preferences: I would love a home birth but I'm not sure if I'm going to get it because we may be dealing with a blood clotting disorder. If so, and if I'm on blood thinners, we may have to induce within a short window of being off of blood thinners - if so I will be in a hospital.
* Anything else you'd like to share: Please please please be a sticky baby!! I am hoping against all hopes that this will be our takehome baby - I'm due on DH's 29th birthday.
