This is my first time posting here. Thanks for advance for any help!

I have breast fed my son since his birth, and he now 7 weeks old. I returned to work this week and am trying to stop breast feeding completely. I'm self employed and my job will make it impossible to continue. I've been weening him off for the past 4 days. It's been 18 hours since I nursed him, but I am not sore. I can tell there is still milk in my breast., but have noticed I'm not leaking much at all. My question is, what should I do? Is it okay to stop completely.

it doesn't have to be all or nothing - you can nurse him when you are together & not when you are apart....

I agree you don't have to completely stop and especailly at his age I'd greatly encourage you to countinue even if just partially. As for your question.. If you stop eventually you will stop producing it may be painful and it may take longer than you think or it may not.
