OPK Question

Thread Starter
I have used OPK for 3 mo so not a whole lot of history, I know. But I usually have a day before a positive OPK that is almost positive. This month I went from obviously neg yesterday to positive today but not as dark positive as I had last month. I tested at 4pm and got the positive, at 8pm and it was a bit darker positive and at 11pm it was obviously neg though still showing some color. So is that the whole surge or does the body produce more LH in the morning and so can show positive again the next day? I know I will know by tomorrow afternoon but just hoping someone with more experience with these things can clue me in! Of course, the 10pm "sample" was quite a bit more dilute as well.

Using OPKS can change each cycle. This cycle 2 days of + OPK, O'd on the 2nd day of +

A diff cycle I had only 1 day of + OPKs and O'd the next day..

Sometimes I have 2 days worth of + and O on the 3rd day when its back to -

Each cycle is different and My guess would be that its the whole surge....

they do say not to test after maybe 8 pm. some say 6 pm, some say 10 pm. 8 pm is a good cut off. try again today after 10 am. when i am expecting it to go pos, i usually do maybe 11 am, 2 pm, and 6 pm. that has worked well. good luck!
