Just throwing this idea around and perhaps someone could give me an idea to use.
I was thinking of making myself a necklace... that feels like hair... that a child could safely chew on.
Hair is her sensory happy place and it's killing my scalp so I thought maybe if I made a furry or stringy necklace she could hang onto that instead of swinging around by my hair and hearing the snapping of what few hairs I have left in between her fingers. And this also might help the biting as she does it to "feel" not to be mean. If something felt better than my face.. that would be awesome.
I certainly don't want her to suck down some string or fuzz (despite the thought I am sure she is doing this behind my back) or weird chemical. So perhaps you have an idea of a certain type of fuzzy rope I can google or an idea how to make a sensory necklace would help me out.
It was just an idea. thx
