DD and I both had a cold at the end of last week. She was having trouble nursing because her poor nose was stopped up. This week her nose is still stuffy and daycare has been having trouble getting her to drink much milk. They just called me and she's only drunk two ounces today. I'm going to go nurse her at lunch. She seems to be nursing okay, just not wanting the bottle. That confuses me some.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Her nose doesn't seem THAT stuffy. Is there anything we can do to alleviate her discomfort? I've tried the bulb syringe and can't get much out, it's way back there. I've tried breastmilk in her nose and saline. I've sat in a steamy bathroom.

Ear infection, perhaps?

Or is she just on bottle strike?
