I've been lurking about and posting here and there for a little while, but after checking out some other pregnancy and parenting online forums, I've realized that MDC is really the place for me! 
I am almost 6 months pregnant with our first, and MDC was recommended to me by an online friend when I made the decision to have a natural childbirth. Since then, I have found SO much great info here already just by browsing, and really feel like this is the place for me in the long-term. I don't know one single "crunchy" momma IRL, so if it weren't for this forum I'd be on my own when it comes to things like hypnobabies, EBF, babywearing, delayed vax, cloth diapering, etc to infinity.
A little about me: I am originally from Oklahoma but moved to Indianapolis 4 years ago, and after I met DH I moved down to S. Indiana and we celebrated our one-year anniversary in June. We are really looking forward to this baby and all of the new experiences he or she will bring.
