Do two year olds still have growth spurts?

DD is only napping for an hour, waking up in the morning two hours earlier than usual and has a mighty BIGGER than usual appetite. I remember her doing this when she was an infant and having a growth spurt. I think she may be having one now.

Yeah, and they keep on having them. My 10yo is eating everything in site right now.

Absolutely! DD wakes earlier and eats loads during a growth spurt. Tends to be more whiny and easily irritable too.

Wow. I hope this doens't last too long. As soon as I put her down for a nap she's up already and she's got so much energy during the day you'd think I'd been giving her caffeinated beverages

Haha my DD bounces off the walls when having a growth spurt too! But it can more readily end in tears during them as well...

It tends to last for about a week here

Yes, absolutely. My 11 and 9 year olds have them a couple of times a year still. Teens get them, too.

This. I remember when my brother was 13 and having one...and again when he was 18.

I think they keep happening until you stop growing...you just learn to manage the symptoms better.
