Pregnancy test question.

If the period is late by couple of weeks with a chance that one
might be pregnant.. and then period arrives or.. is it possible misscarriage..

if it was pregancy..
would the test show on the first day of bleeding as positive for pregnancy
hormons or negative if taken first or second day of beleding?
provided no tests has been done prior to bleeding.


would there be any other symptoms then bleeding like pain or something?

Hi, not sure if this will help or not but...

In my experience, I've had 4 miscarriages, with 3 of them the pregnancy test still showed positive for a few days during bleeding. One showed positive for 2 weeks after. Usually if it's an early miscarriage there is very little pain other than period like cramping.

In my experience, the pregnancy test will show positive until all the tissue that made up the pregnancy is out. So yes, it could show positive for several days; mine did. I would take another pregnancy test after the bleeding is past. Wishing you well.

It depends on how early it was - but generally, I have had positive pregnancy tests throughout a week of heavy bleeding until I passed the placenta. Then they got lighter quickly.
