...that has meant a lot to you as a working or student mama, what would it be?

I'm going to be a WAHM as of September, doing childcare for 2 little girls while also caring for my DD. Even though I'll still be "at home" it'll be a big change. I'd love to hear bits of wisdom and insight from those of you who've BTDT.

ITA! I stayed at home and homeschooled from January to June and I also watched kids to make money to do this. Before I started getting time for myself I was tense and it really showed. Once I started making sure I got time every week for myself I had the patience to give dd the one on one time she needed and to give the children I was watching the care they needed.

Give yourself permission to not be perfect. You don't have to be June Cleaver, or Supermom. You get to be imperfectly perfect!

Let your kids sleep in their clothes for the next day. Sounds crazy, but this little piece of advice saves laundry and saves one extra thing that doesn't have to be done in the morning.
