Here's what helps me: being near the ocean, long walks in nature, yoga, automatic writing (putting pen to paper and just letting things flow without judgment), writing a hand-written letter to someone you know would appreciate it, petting and caring for an animal, listening to music you haven't listened to in years that you used to love, breaking out old photo albums and enjoying the memories that come up, painting a picture from your heart, dancing in the rain, learning how to play a musical instrument, and/or getting a massage
