cleaning around fawcetts

Not exactly sure where to post this.....

But what is a good way to clean around the fawcetts? You know that kind of wet and grimey stuff that accumulates in the little nooks in crannies and around the base of the fawcett? Not sure what to use to get it out...a cloth doesn't really get all of it off.

TIA!

I clean around my faucets with baking soda and an old toothbrush. Once a month seems to be enough.

I've got an old toothbrush I use for that. A little baking soda, a little scrubbing, a lot of rinsing and then dry it off and it looks great!

Ick, I was doing this today. Old toothbrush for sure! The same one I use to clean the grout. Maybe not the most eco friendly/healthy option, but Method makes a scrub (comes in a blue bottle with a slot at the top for a sponge) that smells yummy and works wonderfully.

Of course, an old toothbrush! Thanks!

I use a toothbrush. Be careful not to scrub the caulk out! I did that to my kitchen faucet and now water drips into the cabinet when I splash.

Another baking soda use here! Sometimes, I need a toothpick or Q-tip to get into the extra tiny spaces. Blech!
