Looking for childcare in south Denver/Castle Rock

Hi fellow mothering parents:
Well, I've been blessed to have my daughter home with family only since her birth in Feb 09. We've juggled a schedule between both her grandmas, her papa, and me (I've been back to work 32 hrs/week after 5 month maternity leave). I'm needing to be back at work full-time (40+) starting in Jan 2011 (she'll be almost 2).
Anyway, I think it'll be fun for her to start being with some other kiddos, and my boss will sure be happy. I'm feeling conflicted, but don't have much of a choice.
So, I'm interested in finding an in-home childcare situation for her. I'm thinking I'd like her to start with 2 half-days or full-days a week until she's a little older. I know we have some good preschool options in Castle Rock, but I really prefer the idea of her being in someone's home.
Please contact me if you (or someone you know) is available/interested in chatting with me. I'm committed to finding someone who is aligned with my parenting style, and knew this was the place to start! Thanks!

Childcare

Hi there;

Is North Colorado Springs way too out of the way for you? I'm looking to add on a home-care toddler soon. My kids are 2 and 3 and just love company. We do home-cooked meals, are Waldorf-inspired (though not all the way) - no TV, no flashy-flashy toys, no early academic stuff, just lots of nursery rhymes and stories and songs and free play. We stick close to home mostly but visit parks and the like when we can. We're just south of the AF Academy, so not even all the way to downtown Colorado Springs. I realize you're probably not looking to venture so far from home but I just wanted to offer in case you were interested.

Hi candycat, thanks for your reply. I think CO Springs won't work for us...I work in Denver, so if anything we can go north of Castle Rock. But, you're the type of mama I'm looking for! Anyone else?

This is a little late but were you able to find someone? We moved to Castle Rock at the beginning of the year and I was searching on here to find local moms and found your message. I am a stay-at-home mom and would be interested in watching your daughter!
