Four days of +opks..what does that mean? *UPDATED w/ the reason*

This is a s/o off of my other post bc I want to get some group wisdom...
I'm on my 4th day of +opks. I have EWCM. I have not had a confirmed temp shift.
Chart

I'm certain the +s are not false, bc I'm using both $tree and CBE digis and testing multiple times/day and they are all +. VERY +.

This is really, really late in the cycle for me to O post-Clomid days 3-8... I wonder if my body is just trying and failing to O? does this mean I won't O?

I thought 3 days was pretty much it... does anyone else get more than that and still O? Is there anything short of a trigger shot you can do to 'help' that follie burst?

Also, I know you can get hcg cross reaction w/ opks, but I thought you had to be pretty pg to have that happen? I had MANY negative hpts at the end of my cycle last month, and a normal AF, so I'd be pretty early still. In fact, I can't really see on my chart how I would be pg...
thoughts?

Thanks, oh wonder women.

Wow - your charts are pretty wacky. I can see why you would be confused. Honestly - I have no idea. Do you have PCOS? I have heard that with PCOS sometimes you can get long strings of positive OPKS.

I was going to ask about pcos. I'd be asking for u/s monitoring rather than relying on opks, to be honest.

Nope, no pcos. Good thought, tho...

This is our last unmonitored cycle. We don't have IF coverage and have only a small amount of money we can put towards it, so we were hoping to not need the extra cost. My RE is in the late O=poor egg quality camp, so he suggested a u/s was probably not worth the cost at CD30, anyway.

I have PCOS and can pee on a OPK the day after my period and it will be positive!

I have heard that because they are threshold tests some women O at a higher level than others, so while your hormones are building to O and declining from O, you can get positive tests.

Does that make any sense? I will try to find a pic.

update!!!

OMFG, mamas.
HulaJen&Karmab had both brought up the possibility of opk as hpt, but, honestly, I thought I was about 5dpo @ the first + opk...
except, then, as I was standing up from gardening tonight, I literally passed out. That has NEVER happened to me before. I remembered someone on here noting it as a pg sign.

So. I tested.

AAAAHH!!! You guys, that's my B-F-P!!

I'm literally in shock. I almost passed out again I was literally talking to RE today about starting injectables next month and how this month was a waste cuz I was sick...

Now, I want you chart experts to help me, please, please- WHEN do you think this happened?

I tested all the way until 18dpo last cycle. I was on Progesterone, and stopped it and bled two days later like normal. I can't imagine a pg could sustain through a progesterone drop like that... then I had a normal AF.

But it sure doesn't look like I O'd this cycle. Plus, if I did, by CM, I would have gotten the first +opk at 5dpo.

and look how dark that FRER is!! That's with late evening, dilute pee and the line still came up instantly.

But, did I take Clomid thru a pregnancy?? *gulp*

EEE!!

Thank you all SoSoSo much for all your help. You ladies have helped me keep my sanity through all this and reminded me to go through this with love and a bit of fun.

Mama-Love had something REALLY similar happen to her a month or 2 ago - her temps fell, she had "AF" but then at like CD10 or something she ended up finding out she was pregnant. She never did find out what happened, but I am guessing possibly vanishing twin? Or maybe subchorionic hematoma? I'd lean toward the vanishing twin only because the temps dropped, and I'd guess that that would be the only scenario that would do that, though in your case, going off the progesterone might be enough to drop your temps, until the pregnancy raised them of its own accord. The sudden drop of progesterone might be enough to cause bleeding too in your case.

OK, the only other thing I can think of is that you Oed on CD17, the cervix and CM matches up the best with that (sometimes I get CM that comes down after O, it's somewhat normal) - that would put you about 12dpo right now which is about the darkness I would expect from the FRER - the OPKs could have been picking up the HCG, you started getting positives around 9dpo based on that which would be totally possible, especially if they are sensitive OPKs.

Anyhoo - congrats!!!!

Thanks! I remember Mama-Love's bfp.
I'm thinking maybe you're right about CD17. That's where FF originally had CHs for me. I just can't find ANYWHERE that says you can get a +opk as hpt that early... the earliest I see on FF's gallery is ~12dpo...
I do hope the CD17/18 scenario is the right one, honestly, bc I'd hate to think I'd both gone off high dose progesterone AND taken Clomid while pg...
anyway, thanks for your thoughts and congrats.
