Not to be missed. Bring your kid's good but outgrown clothes and trade then for other clothes/supplies you need. Awesome event!

Yes, swapping fun and scores galore! And just to remind folks, it's in a new location just down the block at the Sunnyside Methodist Church, not the school this year.

So how exactly does it work?? Do I just bring a bag of stuff to donate, and then take a bag of stuff with me? Does any of it cost money? What about the large stuff? I'm very interested in this!

Doesn't cost a thing!

You bring a bag of stuff, take a bag of stuff. It's based on the honor system; basically, take as much as you bring. If you want, you can "shop" for stuff before you actually donate your own things, just to make sure there are actually things you want.

There won't be large stuff at this swap - it's just clothes and school supplies. Later on in the year we do the Useful Goods Exchange, which is clothing and furniture and everything else.

Just make sure the stuff you bring is clean with no rips - makes it a lot easier on us not to have to toss that stuff in the "no good" corner.

Awesome!! I already packed up a big box of nice clothes that the kids have outgrown to bring in.

One more question

Is it just clothing for school aged kiddos? Or is it infant-adult?

There's always clothes for the whole family there. Tons of baby clothes, women and a few things for men. I snagged my dh some nice shirts for the office last year.

Hey there... I'm bringing a ton of nice boy 14/16 stuff that my kid has outgrown. I should be there by lunchtime and I hope to see you.

P/S I volunteered to take the leftovers to the PTA clothing closet.

This swap is tomorrow!

Zinemama, Erica, I have a doc's appointment to get my kid to at 10:30 ( just a check-up) Then I have to run home and get the other kid before heading over to your side of town. Look for me shortly before 1 p.m.

Erin, I'm an older blond with two dark haired teenagers. I'll be carrying the clothes in laundry baskets.

Thanks for letting me know! I will look for you I'm the 30 year old with the messed up hair, no make up, and will either have a baby on my back or on the breast. LOL
