Some more food elimination questions

Since we're trying gf df for DS's eczema, I thought I might do it with him and have DD2 do it as well to see if nightwaking and behavior issues are related. I know dairy and gluten need about 2 months to be sure, but what about soy? Given the crazy night we had last night, and this morning, and yesterday morning, and the fact that we just bought soy ice cream for DS and I was using soy milk in my coffee this week (I like to switch it up, lol)...maybe? We bought the soy stuff on Tuesday and yesterday and today have been a complete nightmare. Could be coincidence, only only one way to find out. She had some issues as a baby that went away, but has never been regular in the bathroom, even as a newborn.

Dairy and gluten can take a few weeks to see the full effects of eliminating them, but even with those, most people notice pretty clear improvements in a few days or a week. Ditto with soy. I'd take out dairy, soy, corn, gluten for a week (those are the top 4 intolerances) and see what you notice. If you see improvements (not necessarily all symptoms, but some), then you'll know you're on the right track.
