Activity level...different with each pregnancy?

Okay, I popped out WAY faster with this pregnancy than I did with DS. I was still mostly flat in the tummy around this time first time around...

Is that why I don't really feel this baby like I did DS? When he would roll from one side to the other I felt it each.and.every.time. It was pressure moving from left to right or vice versa. With this baby I felt a few kicks the other night...but not much since then. Is it because my tummy is more, uh, expanded? (I'm 4mo along and as big as I was 6mo along with DS)

could be little ones not as active, could be that you have an anterior placenta, could be that little ones facing your back and you dont feel the movements as they are all hitting inside of you... theres a lot of reasons... every pregnancy is different because every baby is different!

I thought as much I can't help but be hyper-vigilant about it with the bleeding I've had. I just wanted some stories

I did, for sure, feel kicks last week. And a good solid roll.

This one's my second, and is moving all over the place. However, my first hardly moved much at all, the whole way through. I was paranoid about it in late pregnancy, and spent a significant amount of time trying to drink cold juice and count kicks. He's a happy healthy active 1.5 year old today. He does have a fairly mellow personality though - not a bad thing.

This little guy is moving much less than his sisters did. I am thinking it's because he has a mellower personality (glad to hear that was your experience mckittre!) or because he's seems "stuck" transverse facing down. Everything seems ok on u/s and checking heartbeat at my appointments (I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow).

I hardly felt my first 3 babies. They are just all quieter/calmer, and were before they were born. Well, ds is extremely stubborn and strong-willed, but he also does not like to be cuddled. When he was about an hour old, we laid him on the bed, and he sprawled out. He NEVER resumed the fetal position, and swaddling flipped him out. So, for him, I think it was less that he was calm, and more that he didn't want touched, lol.

This baby, however, moves lots. It's slowed down now that it has less room, but there for a while, I was impressed. I still wonder if it's going to be busier.

Anyway...yeah, they are all different.
