Fitted like the Dream Eze?

Hi mamas,

It looks as though my favorite fitted is no longer being made. I the Dream Eze cotton fitted. I see they make this freaky AIO, but really I like to use wool and am not into AIOs at all.

My baby is *very* active and I was going to transition from prefolds w/ snappi to fitteds around age one, but he is such a busy busy guy, that I am thinking I need to make this switch now at 7.5 months.

But I can't find the Dream Eze Fitteds anywhere on-line, except a small here, or a small there.

I'm going to stalk diaper swappers, but does anyone use another fitted that they can recommend that fits like the Dream Eze, and is all cotton (or some hemp, too, but not scratchy like Crickets)?

I'm not too keen on the bamboo because of the polyester/synthetic material included. These don't seem to wash up that well. I think Kissaluvs has some synthetic fiber blended in as well...

Thank you so much!

Oh, and WAHMs are great, too--as long as they fit like the dream eze

Hmmm, I've not used Dream eze fitteds, but Tinkle Trap side-snapping fitteds look similar to the pics I found of the DE's. I LOVE Tinkle Traps. They are trim, cute, and fit my skinny toddler well. Each size seems to last a long time (ie: we got mediums when DS was about 10 months old, and he still has room in them, although now we're mostly in larges).

Thanks mama! Do you think you could have put your guy in the large at 10 months? I'm looking to go straight to the large. Which I can do with the dream eze.

thanks, mama! I'll check my $ and see if I can get these. Its been awhile since I've bought diapers new, and the price tag seems very steep. But I'm going to see if these will be in the budget.

Any other great diapers out there, side snapping fitted?

Hmmm, probably not, since my guy is tiny! How big is your LO? I'd say, for most kids, their weight ranges are pretty right on. At least their "minimum" weight. I found, though, that DS fits in the diapers past the upper weight, but not really before the lower weight. Like, now, he's probably around 26 pounds, but he still has a couple snaps left to grow into in the Mediums, which go to 25 pounds. But, he is of a toddler build, so he has a lean tummy and thighs. He's on the smallest waist snap and almost the smallest leg snap in the larges.

I'd stick with the size indicated for your baby's weight, unless he's right at the cusp of fitting into the Larges. Lots of people on sites like Diaper Swappers like Tinkle Traps, so you could always sell the mediums when you're done with them, if necessary.

That is why I love the dream eze, the Organic Velour Dream-Eze has a removable insert. I can snap that out, add a smaller, thinner liner, and it makes a super nice trim diaper for my almost 19 lb. 7.5 month old. Add the liner and it will fit him until he is out of diapers.

Wow, that does sounds like a cool diaper!
My guy was 19 pounds at a year . I think you could use the larges on a 19 pounds 7.5 month old!

Ah, that is how my oldest was! He was a little one at a year--I think 22 lbs.
