TF Menu Plans

I know there is a meal planning forum...but I am wondering if we can share our TF menus here. Both for ideas, and to give newbies some inspiration/help with remembering to soak, etc...

Thanks!

I will share my menu plan. For extra calcium, we drink nettles infusions, and my 3 yr old like it with a little apple cider. She call it her teajuice. I akways add wild edibles and dried sea weeds to everything. Wild plants are superfoods. 3 yr dd knows just what plantain and dandelion looks like. I put flax oil on some things, take a Vit D, Vit C and sometimes a B vit complex. And sometimes I take a calcium/mag supplemnt too to round things up. We are dairy free, soy free, egg free, gluten free:

(This was this past weeks menu plan)

Monday
B- Mango, spinach, blueberry, strawberry chia seed smoothie
L- Leftover beef & bean chili. Steamed chard
D- Every veggie soup with beef broth

Tuesday
B- Zuccinni chickpea fritters, baked sweet potatoes
L- Leftovers
D- Organic hotdogs (dd helped with the menu planning this week), homefries, cucumbers. Lacto ferment pickle

Wednesday
B- Millet with blueberries
L- Rice, nut, pepper salad, and a can of sardines. Steamed kale
D- Lentil soup. Zuccinni bread for dessert

Thursday
B- cabbage, carrot, raisin, walnut salad
L- Hummus wraps
D- Fish and quinoa. Some kind of green veggie

Friday
B- Green Smoothie
D- Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans

Saturday
B- GF pancakes, sweet potatoes
D- Beans and rice, steamed kale. Liver.

Sunday
B- breakfast mufins
D- GF Lasagna- spinach and pine nut ricotta

What about you mel, any menu plan to post?

I am surprised that there aren't any other TF menu planners. I am going to post this coming weeks one later, but it looks a bit like the past one.

Great link topaz!

Subbing as well!

Subbing--I so need this right now!

So far I've only planned a couple of meals; I'll do the rest later today. I'm a newbie so they're all only partially TF, probably.

Breakfasts:
Granola (not soaked) with yogurt and fruit

Soaked oatmeal pancakes (new recipe...)

Homemade marinara from the freezer mixed with cooked turkey sausage and cream cheese, over whole wheat penne

Roasted vegetables and roasted garlic-chicken broth sauce, over 7-cheese tortellini

I'm planning to make some sourdough bread from my new starter, too.

I am subbing too!
I sooo need this right now. I'm still new to TF (gosh, I've been saying that for a long time!). I am also new to eating meat, and am making my first pot roast in the crock pot this week! I am soaking the chuck roast in buttermilk for 3 days, a la Sally Fallon's recipe.

I'm also planning to make soaked oatmeal.

I think those are the only Nourishing Traditions recipes I've tried so far....

Well, I don't menu plan at the moment, but here's a sample day-

B- scrambled eggs with some kind of meat, and yogurt or cheese

L- tuna pan fried in evoo with wilted greens

S- raw milk cheese and organic fruit, or anchovies on sourdough or light rye crackers

Dinner- Frittata (eggs, milk, chopped onions and green peppers, cooked bacon and cheddar cheese)

We're not very TF (yet...I've been saying it for a long time, too...but I am trying to learn new stuff now, so hopefully my future menu plans will reflect that).

Tonight, we're having chicken, corn and tomato salad with homemade SOAKED (it's only my 2nd time soaking a bread recipe!!) pitas

Grilled veggie sandwiches (on homemade spelt bread)
chicken stir fry with veggies & salad from the garden
homemade pizza

That's what we're eating for supper this week...not very TF

Here's mine. This is my first week of aiming for a low-wheat, high-protein, high-fat diet.

Breakfast:

Soaked baked oatmeal (has eggs and milk in it) with milk overtop

Egg and rice crepes with spinach-cheese filling

Lunch:

Spinach-chicken-risoni soup

Leftovers

Ploughman's plate w/ sourdough, pickled carrots, cheese, meat, veggie sticks, hummus

Dinner:

Apple Harvest Chicken Salad:
http://www.tammysrecipes.com/apple_h...alad_red_robin (I use soaked, dehydrated pecans instead of walnuts)

Shrimp and Pork Mini-burgers w/ asparagus, orange slices
http://food.chatelaine.com/Recipes/V...k-Mini-Burgers

Korean Style Beef Kabobs:
http://www.everythingmom.com/free-me...ef-kebabs.html

Salmon chowder (based on a recipe I found here on MDC)

Grilled Moorish Pork Ribs (already made!)

Gnocchi puttanesca (again, based on a recipe in an MDC thread)

Snacks:

Yogurt or cottage cheese with fruit (raspberries, peaches)

Fresh figs

Popcorn and cheese

Pecans or almonds

Peanut butter on apples or bananas

There's also ice cream in the freezer (Breyer's was on sale)

Thank you all for the ideas!

I know we're going to have beef roast one night, and then soup out of that, and meatloaf and squash another night. Also, another night, eggs, bacon, and tempeh.

On hand I have ; lentils, beans, rice, ww pasta (I know, I know ), tuna, potatos, apples, and some assorted odds and ends.

Oh, and there's still some chard in the garden from last year- that stuff never dies!

That's the best I can do for now- but please post more ideas?
