Another Burlington-area mom here - we are homeschooling 2 kids this fall (almost 8, and just turned 5) & live about 25 min north of B-town - but we're always down that way & would love to meet up. There is also a Vermont homeschoolers' yahoo group you can join if you do wind up homeschooling.

sadly homeschooling is not going to be an option for us which is killing me, but I will have to go to work.

There is a huge meet-up group that is really active up there. It's called Chittenden County Moms (and Dads too) and we were a part of it when we lived up there.
