I'm a double-major in Chinese and Spanish and I'm taking:

*Evolution of Communism in China
*4th-year Chinese (language)
*an academic writing class in Spanish
*testimonial narratives of Guatemala and Mexico (Spanish)
*Guerrilla warfare in Latin America (Spanish)

Really excited about these classes! But also really nervous about leaving kids, especially my little newborn. But I HAVE to graduate this year, so I have no choice!

Don't stress too much. A&P I and nutrition should be quite easy for you.

I'm starting my first semester of a masters degree in public affairs. I'm super excited about it. I'll be taking four classes, and I register on Friday. The schedule that I hope I get is:

--Introduction to Empirical Methods for Policy Analysis
--Policy Research Project: Texas Legislature, Lobbying & Internship
--Politics and Process: Gender, Health & Society
--Public Financial Management

I'm super excited about the Gender, Health & Society class. You do a big research project, and I'm planning to do something about homebirth or midwifery.

"Calculus for the Biological Sciences"
Ugh. I had to take that one twice. WITH a tutor. It just never stuck. Good luck to you.

"Comparative mysticism"
That sounds really interesting!

Ooh! I loved bio anthro so much I wound up adding it as a minor!

This semester I'm taking:

diversity in social work practice
archaeology
social welfare policy
evolution of primate behavior

It feels like such a light load as I am used to taking 5 classes.

I am hoping I'll like the bio anthro.. my area is cultural anthro

I am nervous about my 5 classes.. I am used to taking 3 at a time, at the community college (my first time at a real university!)

My schedule is crazy this semester, but I'm really looking forward to it!! I'm taking (18 credits) :

Thinking and Knowing (I'm really excited about taking this class, we will discuss a lot of topics I'm really interested in. I wish I could be a philosophy major, but it's too impractical.)
History and Culture of Ancient Civilizations
Psych 101 & Human Development combined in a giant 6 credit class
Human Relations Workshop
Small Group Behavior
Intro to Digital Photography

This is along with being a tutor for 2 classes, a study group monitor for 1 class, and I work in the Library part-time. I want to double major that's why I'm taking such a huge load, and this puts me way ahead in some areas.

Wow, I am so impressed with some of you Mamas, and your amazing workloads! This fall will be my 2nd year in school, and I'm taking

Intro to Women's studies
Sociology and Gender
Interpersonal Communication
College Algebra Workshop (a 1 credit prep course for Math 111, since I struggled through Math 95 last winter and am now totally intimidated by 111)

I have carried a max of 12 credits each semester, and I cant even imagine carrying 20 credits! But I am very proud of myself for maintaining full time school for 4 full terms now, and still maintaining a 3.9 GPA .

I'm hoping to apply for a major scholarship this fall, and have been very uptight about getting A's in order to be fully considered for an interview for the scholarship.

(Grad school in Counseling)

Mindfulness and Psychotherapy (lots of meditation--love it!)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapies

Life Span Development for Helping Professionals
post #60 of 60
Can I join you all?!

I'm taking:

Intro to Microeconomics
Technical Communication (Writing).

I wish I had time to fit in more than two classes. Perhaps when DS is a bit older and DD3 starts kindy!
