He flips and flops all night long

Why??? He doesn't seem gassy. Some nights he isn't so bad and other nights he's all over the place. My mom said I was like this, but I can't ask her more as my mom passed 15yrs ago.

DS is 19 months old and we co-sleep and he is still breastfeeding and night-nursing. I don't mind the waking as much as the contant flopping!

I hear ya! I just posted about that yesterday in my "The 'Last Night was Living H*ll' thread". DD flips and flops and rotates and sits up and flops back down face-first... argh! She does it for a few days now and then and gives me a little reprieve after that. Don't know where it comes from... maybe teething?

I have a flip flopper too...along with being a flipper and kicker, he is a cuddler. I had to move him into the co-sleeper at about 4-5 months because he kicked me all night! It was a hard change for me, but he adjusted fine and he is still right next to me all nite.
Now he is 8 months and outgrowing the cosleeper...I think I need to side car a crib. Sometimes I bring him in the bed after he eats because I do love having him in the bed.....but then he starts kicking and rolling and flopping and I rmember why he is in the cosleeper.
Yes, maybe it was worse when he was teething, but it happens regardless.

Is he too hot? DS flips and flops if he gets overheated - he prefers the bedroom on the cool side.
