What shoes should I get for huge pregnancy feet?

Hi there!
My feet and ankles are disfigured by swelling...like puffball mushrooms with little puffballs on the end for toes.
The only shoes I can wear are my flipflops. Clearly this will not work forever; I still have at least 8 weeks to go.
What shoes can I get? I tried to get some Minnetonka moccasins, the size up from my normal size, and although they were too long they still dented my feet on the top! The big problem is that I kind of refuse to wear Crocs because I've always hated them. Does anybody have a good alternative?
I need shoes that are not sandals and don't look offensively horrible (I guess that is up for debate), also they should not cost one hundred dollars because they are temporary; other than that, I am open to suggestions!
THANK YOU

Get Crocs. Stop the hating!

No really, its what I had to do. I hated Crocs, until I started swelling this pregnancy and now... WOW.

Im not wearing them AFTER I have her, but they are a life saver for now. Not only do my swollen feet fit in them, but with my SPD its hard to put on shoes I have to actually touch to put on!

When my feet were hugely swollen I just wore flip flops.

If you don't want flip flops crocs do several have different styles.

I'm another vote for Crocs. There are some that are less hideous in design, and they really are comfy. You can chuck 'em when you're done peeing out the excess fluid when baby's born.

I had the minnetonka hard soled slippers and wore those in the winter. otherwise I wore flip flops in the summer or Keen maryjanes a size up since they are so wide

I am only in flip flops. My birkenstocks even feel to tight. I can't hold my breath long enough for the constant readjusting of my chacos. I guess crocs would be the only other way to go. I hate crocs though.

I'm going to dissent and recommend these.

I say get Crocs- I don't love them either, but I remember during my last pregnency I thought my dh literally saved my life by bringing me some home.

Crocs and flip flops are all I wear! It's much easier because there is no snow With DD and DS I had a beast of a time trying to find something that fit and withstood winter in Michigan.

Another vote for crocs, sorry! I think they are ugly too, but oh god they are comfortable! I get a shock when I put lace-up shoes on and clue into how much my feet are swelling because I don't notice it so much with the crocs. Sorry!

I agree that crocs are ugly, but with a summer baby there's not much else to do - I bought the mary jane style, as they are less hideous.

I"m worried about what I'll do in February in Nova Scotia! Too much snow for crocs. :

Extra big extra fuzzy snow boots.

Thats what I had to do with DS (in N. IL at the time and due in Jan... temp can get down to -40)

the extra fuzziness of them lets your feet swell without getting too tight and has the added benefit of keeping your feet warmer.

Eastland.com "Newport" (slip-ons) are my favorite non-summer shoes! So comfy, and looks great with anything long (long skirts, pants). Limited edition has leather inners, which wear a LOT better than the regular (foam) ones. I get a size bigger when preggo. Otherwise, I wear running shoes. Make sure your toes have room to wiggle and your feet will feel much better!

What about Uggs? I think they're kinda ugly, and they are not cheap, but at least in this part of the world they're really trendy. And they are very comfy!

ha- new spin. What do you wear if you have swollen feet and still have to look presentable for work as in office casual (not formal)? I wore wide ballet flats last time around. Hope they still work (and I can find them as they're so wide they didn't fit PP)
