Cleaning birth tub before use

What is the best way to clean a used birth tub? I am running out of time to get everything ready and a friend let me have her birth tub. She only labored in it but still needs to be cleaned. Wish I could get a liner but not sure where and don't have much money.

Nevermind, just cleaned it with water and vinegar.

If you do want a liner, search on-line. The liner for the "birth tub in a box" we're using runs about $35, and I think others are similar.

You could also give it a few hours in the sun and then rinse it out again. I always feel like things are cleaner after being in the sun.

Thanks, I will try both. Not much sun up here in Alaska though. This summer it only wants to rain lol.
