I am so behind this year. But then, when I think honestly about it, I am always "so behind" at the start of Ramadan. I wanted to make the piles of sweets in advance that I used to do, and, well...didn't happen. This is my busiest season on the farm, and work exploded in my face this summer, so I am just now, today, in a place to think beyond today. But alhamdulillah, I am so ready for this month of mercy.

Getting ready to fast tomorrow. Temps into the 90s with humidity in the 90s and still lots of heavy outdoor labor to get done. Hoping to unload hay today, so we don't have to do it while fasting.
