Daycare workers exaggerate

Today I got an urgent phone call... ds (17 mos) wasn't breathing right, he was coughing, choking, sounding rattly, and screaming. He was gasping for breath. Really, when they called me, it sounded like a real emergency. So I ran to the daycare, only to find him fast asleep, perfectly fine. He was very slightly rattly. I called in to be excused from my afternoon class and was making plans on rushing to the emergency room and everything... all for a frickin' slight chest congestion.

Yeah. Had those. Then she stopped calling AT ALL. (home daycare) so she wouldn't "worry me" Now she has started calling about half hour before I leave with any incident reports. Helps that they don't get missed, hurts cuz I am trying to wrap up stuff at work. No perfect answer.
