is my water leaking?! (TMI warning)

So last night after I had an orgasim i noticed it was really wet down there.. no big surprise.. but it was more than normal and very thin.. and it has been like that since then.. its not like dripping or anything but my its getting my underwear wet and it't not the same as my normal discharge because it's not leaving a milky color.. should i be concerned that it is amniotic fluid or am i just overly worried about it and it's probably just a normal increase in vaginal discharge because i'm nearing the end of my pregnancy?!

I wouldn't rule out amniotic fluid. I also wouldn't have sex again or try to check your cervix until you test it or have your caregiver test it.

yeah my DH is too freaked out to have sex until after my appointment lol my MW comes for our home visit on wednesday.. so i'll talk to her about it then!

No judgment from me if you decide to wait, but 5/6 days is a quite a while to leak without any input from a mw. Personally, I'd call my mw today and find out if she wanted to check earlier than Wednesday. JMO, but good luck with whatever you do

Getting tested is always a good precaution but really, its totally normal! So don't freak out until you can be tested.

To me it sounds like you may have had your first experience with female ejaculation.

i called my MW today and she said she's not concerned she thinks its just an increase in my CM but we can test on wednesday or if i feel any more moisture or little gushes or anything or start getting a fever we'd procede differently from there!

Maeryn- when i was googling it i found tons of women had that happen durring pregnancy that normally do not have that i dont think that is what's going on with my since i am still experiencing it.. but still pretty interesting to read about!

Indeed, I started having it happen when pregnant with DS and now pregnant or not it happens, but almost every time I DTD when pregnant it does and when not, I have to be REALLY enjoying it to have it happen! LOL

Increased blood flow, thus increased sensitivity to the area, I think. I really do enjoy pregnancy DTD more than most non-pregnancy DTD (not to say I don't always enjoy it, just enjoy it more when we aren't doing it to try making a baby or with the risk of making a baby!)

lol i woudl have agreed with you completely durring my last 3 pregnancies... this one however.. i have no sex drive at all and it takes a while to get me going.. must be because i'm having a girl this time?! i have no clue... though even though it takes me a while.. pregnant O's are the best

welll that is probably true! lol and we just moved back to AZ from Alaska... and the heat makes me so sleepy.. lol i THOUGHT it would be no big deal since we are from here but man... it's HOT!

If you have an aquarium test kit, you can test your discharge and find out if it is ammniotic fluid. Normal discharge is acidic, but ammniotic fluid is neutral to slightly basic. Sort of funny to stick a test stick in your panties, but hey, it works!
