DPO (if applicable): N/A
Testing: I have a progesterone test on the 30th!
Trying Since: Feb 2009
Plan for this Cycle: This is my second cycle of Clomid. Last time, I took 50mg from CD 5-9 and had a progesterone level of 13 at CD 24. This month, I am on 100mg.
Link to Chart (if applicable): I stopped charting.
Thoughts: Well, I am taking Clomid because of my PCOS. I was diagnosed the day I started my first round of clomid by ultrasound and blood tests. I really hope the higher dose does it's job. Even if I don't get pregnant this time, I will be happy if I can even ovulate.

Well, here's the update on me.
I went today for my presurgical meeting with my doc. We went over everything that he will be doing. The hysto..gram..thing... and the lap surgery to remove what I'm hoping will be endo in my abdomen.
Course we went over all the bad stuff that could happen, and I'm trying not to freak about that.
So, wednesday, we get to get up at 4am, drop the children off at my mom's and drive 2 1/2 hours so I can do this surgery. Have the surgery, drive back home and pick up the children. Come home and recoup. Whew!
I've already picked up my pain meds and nausea meds (just in case). We're praying that this will do the trick for us, and we'll be blessed within the next few months. Maybe we can have some of these dang medical bills paid by then. (Isn't there a sarcastic smiley somewhere?)
I'm ready for us all to get pregnant and have sticky, sticky babies!!!!

I hope everything goes great on Wednesday. Nothing unexpected and a quick recovery. Does the doctor come out and talk to your dh? When is your follow up?

Thank you! I am praying all goes as planned with no surprises.
Our doc should come out and talk to dh after the surgery and let him know everything. It will be such a relief for dh to know it's over and all went well.
I haven't set up a followup yet. And come to think of it, he didn't mention it yesterday. But, he did talk to us a bit about down the road, what next after we clear out the cobwebs, so to speak. (My words, not his)

I'm finally doing, posting in infertility... I have lurked now and again, but mainly post in the Bitter Sushi Ladies thread over in TTC. It has been 14 cycles since we first started trying, and it's looking like this one is a draw, as I think it's anovulatory...

Hi all I'd like to join if I may.

Our issues are:
dh has a spinal tumor which causes:
* No sponatious errections (and viargra can impair fertility)
* No spontaious ejeculation
* Spinal injury usually causes poor sperm motlity.
* Chemo and radiotherpy usually damage sperm.
and I have one ovary (which thank god seems to be doing OK).

So were just at the stage of really seeing where we are and what help we need.

Dh only had the chance to make one sperm donation before treatment. anyone know if one donation=one cycle of IUI. Would it be better odds with IVF?

Anyway I'm just getting through the day and trying to to go mad with jelousy over my collage who got pregant by having sex everyday. that was how I wanted to get pregant!

Welcome jenger, Amanda & silverbird!

Silverbird those are definitely unique fertility concerns. I can only imagine the tremendous jealousy you both must feel. Have you seen an RE yet? I'd have to guess IVF is your best bet, but I'm no expert.

zanelee how was your lap? I hope you arent' feeling too badly.

Welcome to everyone that's new. And hope that your stay here is short!!!

My lap went fine. Not much fun on my end though.
He tried to dialate my cervix (which was very stenotic and short from prior surgery) and it was so scarred, they couldn't even find the real opening! (I just want to call the bad doctor who told me there wasn't a problem and go "SEE!!! I TOLD you!!!" But I'll refrain....
They finally did get it dialated after they went in laproscopically. My tubes were open, my ovaries looked fine, and my uterus seems fine also. Now for the results of that scarred cervix...I had stage III endo and adhesions all over. Both ovaries and tubes were stuck to the cavity wall..as well as part of my colon.
I am sore, bruised and bloated, and even had blisters on my lip from ?...assuming the trach tube...but...glad it's over and was deemed necessary. Hopefully, once I'm healed and all...we'll be blessed again.
Feeling hopeful once again....
