My sensitive kids have enjoyed PS.

They all thrive in a structured, but caring, classroom. My ds had a wonderful Gr 3 teacher who didn't exactly get around to the curriculum but engaged the children in a lot of conversation. Other teachers manage to do both. Some teachers are a bit crazy about curriculum. And some teachers are just about as awful as it gets and you will go through truly weeks that feel a bit soul-destroying.

But they are weeks. Not much more.

I agree with a PP who noted that sometimes the sensitive kids learn a few life lessons. Being sensitive is great, but so is learning how to work with many different kinds of folks and situations.
