why was vaccination forum locked 3 yrs ago?

So I've checked the entire FAQ as well as searched this forum and found no answer. I noticed some or all of the vaccination forums are locked, and seem to have been locked since 2007 or so. What's the story with that? I know some forums are subscription only, but these do not appear that way as there's not a "subscribe" button. Plus, all the posts are years old, so it's obviously not still active.
Anyone know why this is?

Do you mean the forums in the Vaccinations Archive Category? MDC Admin locked those to serve as a reference section only (like in a library).
