I now know what you are all talking about!

Yesterday at play group a mom was changing her 2 week old sons diaper. I saw his poor little penis, raw and red. He was crying as she changed him, and I can only imagine that the urine and wet wipe stung on his raw skin.

I had to look away. I came home and told my husband who also thought it was sad, and am so glad that if we have a boy, he is in agreement to keeping him intact.

Sarah:

What you were seeing was a penis that had been turned inside out. What was intended to be on the inside was on the outside. It would be just like turning your eyelids, mouth, nose or vagina inside out. What you were seeing is exactly what should be expected. A red, raw irritated mucous membrane subjected to an exposure it was not designed for and trying it's best to cope with the situation. Disgusting, isn't it?

I'm afraid I will soon be exposed to a poor little circed newborn. A mom in my homeschool group just had a baby boy and I'm sure she had him circed. I really don't want to see it and I'm not sure how I would react to it. Such a freaking shame!

It is very sad.

I changed my nephew's diaper in the hospital and was sickened when I opened it. I told my sister I didn't want to change anymore. He hurt so badly and cried because it was getting touched, even with the diaper. My husband became a strong supported of leaving boys intact later when he helped change him as he was healing.
