So how does this birth plan sound to you?

So its not so much as an official "plan" right now as in a rough outline...

For those that haven't read my rantings on here I am pregnant with twins and am facing pressure for induction and other interventions from my previously (3 other pregnancies) VERY supportive care practice. I have been doing a ton of searching, and still haven't completely given up, but so far I just live in too remote of an area to find a more natural birth friendly practice or for that matter even a doula. I also labor very fast but tend to carry babies to due date if not past.

So this is what I have came to as "acceptable" in my situation, not ideal of course, but acceptable. I of course also realize that between now and then any number of things could happen that would make everything I have planned null and void, and I have came to terms with that as well.

I will consent to an induction if I have not went into natural labor by 38 weeks. But NOT before that.

Although policy may not be happy with me I will NOT labor on my back during after being induced. I know my body and if I am forced to lay down I will get an epidural. I will labor standing up for as long as I feel necessary.

If, because of my standing position, they can not get a good reading on the fetal monitors then THEY will have to adjust to fit the situation NOT the other way around. If that means a nurse stays and holds the monitor to my belly while I do what I have to do to make it through labor then so be it.

So am I being completely out of my mind here??? I really feel like the above is the only way I am going to be able to keep from a million more interventions and that that is the safest way for me to have my boys.
I am making a folder that is tabbed according to the situation (induction of twins at 36 weeks, 37 week and 38 weeks, constant fetal monitoring so on and so forth) so that in the heat of the moment I can just whip out the medical peer reviewed research on the subject and tell them to go read it and leave me alone. Do you think that will be taking it to far? I just dont trust myself to be able to defend my position when it gets down to the line and I am laboring...

So have I lost my mind?

I think you're being very reasonable.
