My 8 yo DD has spent the last three hours tearfully mourning, and having a true grief response to having had to leave a goat named Goldie she met at the local fair.
My mother and I had an argument this morning because she told my 2 yo not to 'yell' at her for a snack. He is completely non-verbal, so we never shut down any sound/utterance etc he makes, and instead encourage them. It's just within the past few days we've started getting any active attempt at verbal communication. She knows this, but doesn't quite understand why telling him he couldn't have the snack until he was quiet was wrong.
There was more, but as I started typing, I've run out of energy
