DS thought he had a splinter on the ball of his foot and when I looked it was about a little less than an inch long and black/dark gray. My first thought was a little thin piece of grass or very skinny piece of thread or wire embedded in there. The next day it moved, or at least I thought it did because I wasn't sure exactly where it was. Well, this morning I am sure it has moved! It is almost on his big toe!
Any ideas what this could be?
