mamas of chubby babies

hi- kind of a weird question, but I was wondering if having uneven fat rolls is a sign of something or cause for concern. My DD, who has wonderfully baby plump legs, has a bigger fat roll by her knee on her left leg then on her right. She uses them both the same and is not showing any signs of problems with her legs.

Any other mammas with uneven fat rolls on LOs?

I'd suggest a chiropractor visit

My chiropractor examined my son for this sort of thing when he was about 8 weeks. He ended up having pretty even rolls on his legs so it ended up not really being an issue. She said the reason she looked at every baby's leg rolls was that it was a good indicator as to how the baby was lying inside and if there was any malpositions she detected from the rolls it would help direct what kind of adjustments and/or cranial-sacral therapy the baby needed. My son was so young then, I don't know if it applies to older babies or not. How old is your daughter? Do you have a chiropractor you like? My family has found them highly invaluable. If you don't already have one, look for one who specializes in babies and children. The cool part of that is, they're usually experienced with mamas as well in case you need an adjustment.
