Penis blisters?

I'm putting this here because he's circ'd...

DS woke up this morning with blisters on the head of his penis. Like, little water blisters (no pus thankfully) Any ideas? We went to the pool yesterday but did a rinse off last night. Nothing new in the dipes or diet (in fact, he hasn't been eating much so there hasn't been a chance for new foods) I tried to make a dr appt online but there is NOTHING available until Monday of next week...and they'll be gone by then. So, unless they get worse or don't seem better tomorrow I'm treating at home. (DH said we'll just go to the ER...what's the point of having assigned doctors and whatnot if I can't get in and have to go to the ER?? Stupid Tricare)

I'd be thinking staph as it's a common location and makes blisters. Can you get some bactroban? It will work on even treatment resistant staph and other things like strep as well. I wonder if you called back and said staph they would get you in faster. At any rate if it might be staph treat it as contagious in terms of washing towels, underwear (diapers/I'm not sure how old) with hot water and hot dry, not sharing baths, etc.
