4 Year old talks like a baby

My four year old has begun talking like a baby. Not like "Mama, Dada" But in a high pitched baby-ish voice. I can see him tightening his lips and he's clearly doing it on purpose but it's become a habit. I always tell him "I can't understand you when you talk like that" and he says "I'm not!!" But he is...What do I do? Is it something I should be correcting or not? I'm not sure why he's doing it but it grates on my nerves.

Any experience or advice?

Forgot to mention that he's also started saying things like "Me want to go ride my bike." He has always spoken properly before this. I don't get it. There are no big changes in our lives that I can think of...his baby sister is 2 1/2 and doesn't speak much at all so I don't know how it could be that?

This is an extremely common thing I see parents of 4-year-olds say, and my DS went through a baby-talk phase at age 4 too. We mostly ignored it, and sometimes indulged it ("Oh, we're playing baby? Fun!"). It passed within a few months. I figure he also acts like lots of other things (animals, space warriors, ballet dancers, etc.,) so why not a baby sometimes?
