It seems very early still, but I'm hoping for some reassurance that baby will likely do half a somersault within 14 weeks. My worry is that as the baby gets bigger, she is less likely to flip around. Anyone else experience something similar?
Mine was all over the place, but especially breech and transverse until about 32 weeks, but now, at 33-ish weeks, seems to have settled into a more head-down position.
At 26 weeks, you've got nothing to worry about, but if you feel like it you could start doing some of the exercises at spinningbabies.com.
I think you still have plenty of time for your baby to turn. I second the advice to check out spinningbabies. Try sitting on a birth ball when you're at the computer/watching a movie/eating, etc. Don't slouch back. Go swimming, spend time on hands and knees, etc. These all encourage good baby position I live on my birth ball the second half of pregnancy
I did lots of inversions from spinningbabies. Not sure if that did the trick but I figured it couldn't hurt and it made me feel like I was doing SOMETHING.
You have plenty of time!!! My babies are all over the place until I go into labor. At 41 weeks my dd had her head on my right side and her butt on my left side with her back along the top of my uterus. She was in proper position for birth 2 days later.
26 is wayyyyyy too early for baby to settle into a position. Look for that more around 32-33 weeks, and even then, baby can flip. Now at 26 there is all kinds of room for baby to float around and move, it's not nearly crowded in there enough yet!
you have plenty of time.. my baby was breech/transverse at that stage and around 31-32 weeks had her feet in my pelvis for a while.. now at 35 weeks she has been head down for a week.. her longest stretch yet, i think she may finally have run out of room to flip ..
