Best Natural Deodorant?

I have tried making my own deodorant using a variation of this recipe: http://ultimatemoneyblog.com/how-to-make-deodorant but when I use it, it gives me a rash. I have tried adding more shea butter but that doesn't help either. And then I found out I am stinky about mid day!

What natural deodorant should I buy, or is there a modification to this recipe I can use? Thanks!

Most likely you are reacting to the baking soda. Lots of people use and like it, but for some of us it causes 'pits of fire'!

For many months now I have been using my own homemade concoction with great results. I melt down some coconut oil, then whip in an equal or larger amount of generic Milk of Magnesia. It firms up a little into a nice white cream. I just apply a blob under each arm, rub it in slightly, and I'm good to go for the day.

I tried a lot of other concoctions, but this one has worked the best for me. I hope you find something that works as well for you.

i make our own deodorant, but for store bought, i like tom's best. if you decide to make your own, tea tree oil works very well. i've read here that some people just omit the baking soda if it cause irritation. hth.

I've tried 'em all and the crystal worksbest for me. The homemade ones give me a rash too.
