Please guide me with this: HBA2C

So I have a friend who desperately wants to have a HBA2C. She felt robbed in her first birth that ended in a C-section and then not knowing any better just scheduled her second because her OB told her so. She currently is going to an OB, who I know, that said if it was up to him he would allow a vba2c in the hospital but due to different rules and regs with our hospital and area he can't.

Here's where I need your help: Does anyone know of any midwife that is willing to be there for a hba2c in South Jersey? Specifically Cape May. She is willing to drive to the midwife for appts. I really appreciate any and all help in regards to this. Maybe even contacts of someone that may know someone who is willing to do this would be so helpful.

First thing I would do is look under Finding your Tribe forums here on MDC...I have relatives in your area, and when they homebirth, I will probably travel there to help them, assuming there are no CPMs in that particular part of NJ...but I do know that a Cerified Professional Midwife is the most likely way to have a VBAC, since most CNMs can't do them due to hospital/ backup doc restrictions. NJ is small enough, that you might check in Philly/ Delaware as well. Marilee Pinkleton is a CPM that does births in Delaware- you might check with her.
Contact info is:
2970 South Columbus Street
Arlington, VA, 22206
Phone Number: (302) 249-2504 Hmmm. Maybe that's a little TOO far from you, but I am sure she might know if there is someone closer to you...
