15:30 into the show, "What's a doula"/"It's a birth coach for hippies"/"I thought a birth coach was a birth coach for hippies."/ 15:55 "We can't let some stupid hippie endanger her child because she doesn't want to leave the house."

(Woman is having a home birth because she's agoraphobic. Calls midwife and doula and neither return her phone call... um, yeah.) On the plus side, the acting in this show is SOOOOO incredibly BAD, I'm sure it won't last long. Complaining might just give it more publicity. Hence my not putting it under "activism" and a letter-writing campaign. (But if someone else is inclined to look up the information to do so, go for it.) But if you ever wanted to compile a top 10 list of totally FUBARed Hollywood birth scenes, you might want to remember this one.

Is this the first episode you have watched? The character that said all that is known for being a very cold, sometimes mean person. She often times makes comments to people that are off. The other cop that was there was very compassionate and basically shrugged off her negative comments to help the lady without making her go to the hospital for the birth. Also, the baby was a month early. It wasn't a term baby.
