Hydrogen Peroxide or Vinegar as Veggie wash

How much do I need to put into the bowl with how much water and for how long?

Which is better - the HP, or vinegar?
Any other recommended home-made veggie wash?

Thanks, Sara

Good question. I am interested in washing veggies to remove bacteria/germs, not just any sprays or dirt...right now the only option I've heard of is diluted bleach but I definitely do not want to resort to that. I was reading that the FDA only recommends washing in (clean) tap water, not using any veggie sprays at all....

Vinegar. I just pour in an amount and never measure. It isn't a ton - maybe a TBS? I let it take a dip for about 3 mins.
