K2 / butter oil dosage advice?

Thread Starter
We are trying to heal some cavities and (hopefully) avoid needing palate expanders. When grass fed raw milk is not available I plan to do K2 and / or X Factor Gold butter oil. It has not worked to use D3 and mineral supplement alone.

What dosages has someone used for this in their kids? Adults?

One child is about 7 and 65 pounds, and the other is about 5.5 and 55 pounds.

You need not only D3 but also K2 and vitamin A as well... all the fat soluble vitamins plus a high mineral souce such as raw milk and/or homemade bone broths working in concert.

Weston Price used a combination of 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. each of high vitamin butter oil and high vitamin cod liver oil up to 3x per day. See the Curing Cavities with Nutrition thread.

I give my kids 1 drop of Thorne's K2 supp, that's 1 mg. It's probably higher than they need, probably higher than most kids need (we're working on extra health problems) but it seems well-tolerated. There are studies on the vitamin k yahoo group that talk about dosing, mostly much higher, but it doesn't seem to have a narrow range of helpful before getting to toxic.

I think 1 drop would be fine for an adult too.

You may also want to add in cell salts if you haven't already. DS actually gets more than 1 drop, we've got odd vitamin k issues, but I was able to decrease his dose significantly when I added in just bioplasma alone, not even any of the individual salts at that point. I am now way impressed with cell salts (saw other improvements too).
