let me start with WOW are these pricey...however they are organic wool so i am thinking they would last through multiple babies right?
i have grobaby its been almost 8 months and they are already dingy and the velcro sux. im going to make them last for DD though. wrote to the company and they will make them snaps if i provide proof or receipts...or i have to pay $3.50 a dipe....
anyways anyone used the above mentioned covers? what dipe do you use with them? anyway i could use my grobaby pads?

I *so* wanted little beetles to work for my babies, but they never fit right. I used the fitteds, but I imagine that the covers fit the same way. And they were poorly made IMO, if I but a fitted for 20 bucks the snaps better not come off. Over. and. Over. again.

I would get the measurements and see if they fit your LO.

Organic wool is *the most* absorbent material ever. Just make sure you lanolize them. And with the cooler months coming, you may want to check out the merino wool little beetle longies. With the 2 layers, they seems so nice (and I think tiny bird organics makes the same longie: (they may still check here: click and scroll down. Except now when I click on it it says they don't have it, so maybe not).

I love love love wool, and like longies, shorties the best, because then you don't have to put clothes over the cover, because the cover *is* the clothing.

You can use prefolds or fitteds. Prefolds are probably the least expensive option. What material are your inserts made of?

edit to add: here is the lb longies:

http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/covers.htm (scroll down to the pants! And there are tons of longies that are knitt, and super cute, not just white like these...)

well idk about the fitteds but these are the adjustable one size ones...they look really great but now im not sure if the quality sux...i can not be dealing with crappy snaps. im dealing with grobaby issues right now with the crappy velcro and trying to get them to pay for converting them...errr. cloth diapers aren't cheap and they shouldn't be made cheap!
anyways those pants are sooo cute!

Wow. They are STILL having a problem with snaps coming off? I bought a bunch of the fitteds for DS 3 years ago and the snaps fell off of most of them. I sent them in for repair, and I paid the shipping (both ways, I think). As soon as I got them back, the snaps all fell off AGAIN. I wrote a furious letter of complaint and got a full refund, and THEY paid for the return shipping. I strongly recommend against this product if they still have yet to fix their snap problem, plus the things are outrageously expensive for such poor quaity. I also tried the wool pants and did not care for them. I can't remember why, though.
