Do you wear nursing bras and pads the whole time?

Well, none of my pre-baby bras fit. At all. And nursing bras are convenient, although I only own two for day, two for night. I wear a set of wool pads during the day, and Lansinoh disposable pads at night.

So, just wondering how long other mamas wear nursing bras/tanks, and if you still need to wear nursing pads? I guess I think if I don't wear the pads at night that I will wake up soaked. I tried once (a few months ago) and was not ready, because I still had crazy let down.

If I will keep wearing nursing bras, I may get another one or two. But man, in pretty much and store I walk into, nursing bras are UGLY.

I do till my kids are like 3 years old for nursing bras/tanks as they are still nursing a few times a day till that point. Nursing pads I ditched long ago, and just have leaked a little, if any, so I would rather just deal with a few drops than bother with nursing pads. I have like 6 nursing tanks right now (the $16.99 ones from Target) as I wear a fresh one each day (gets too hot here to wear twice except in winter).

I also wear a nursing tank (the Target ones) every day and at night time. DD is still nursing quite a bit and they are comfortable. In the winter they are the base layer and then I just put on a sweater or whatever over.

I can't help with the nursing pads question...I don't really leak much and never used them.

It would be so nice to ditch the nursing pads! Right now I have two sets of thin wool pads that I rotate for daytime, and the Lansinoh for night. I still have two boxes of them left, but I am not really sure if I need them still.

I was never comfortable in the Target tanks. Something about that little side piece inside always cut into me, rather than sit on the side of my boob for support. I ended up selling mine on Craigs List. I was so hoping they'd work out.

My nursing bras all seem so big. I mean, they come up so high in the front, so if I wear many of my pre-baby shirts, the shirt comes down lower in the front and the bra pokes out.

I stopped needing nursing pads after.. Maybe three months? I didn't wear them at night though- I just stuck cloth diapers under me or in my shirt.

I've never worn nursing tanks- just regular ones. I either pull the shirt I'm wearing over the tank up and pull the tank down. Or I just say whatever and pull myself right out the top of my shirt, if it's low enough cut

I am still only in nursing bras at 26 months and I anticipate wearing them until weaning is pretty close to happening. I like how comfy they are and I hate underwire bras. At an E cup it's hard to find non-underwire that I can pull my boob out of without the nursing flap.

I stopped wearing pads around four or five months. I just didn't have a leaking problem after that. I think my kiddo nurses too often for me to have a chance to leak.
