Engorgment, blocked duct, vomiting and oversupply

My 14 month old was having mystery vomiting episodes every night at bedtime until I noticed how intense my let down felt when I put her to sleep. So I expressed milk before bed and only fed her at that breast so I now have severe engorgment on the other side and am away fr home with no pump and seem to fill up as fast as I express. Normally I let engorgment go down by itself but the clogged duct scared me off plus I am scared Ed will vomit if I feed her from the engorged breast and I want to work on the clogged duct side. My chest is very sore plus I have some sort of virus. What can I do to decrease milk supply? I have enough to feed an exclusively fed baby but dd loves solids.

what makes you feel you have a virus? could you have mastitis?

if so you need to empty the painful breast as soon as possible and worry about oversupply later!
you can try nursing lying down to decrease letdown force, or with baby lying on top of you.
