Could this be Ovulation?

This is my first month ever to chart temps. I started with a regular digital but changed to a Basel body thermometer on the 5th. The temp on the 4th is probably high because I did not sleep at all that night, finally resting from 7 am to 11 am and taking my temp then. I did have a pos OPK on the 3rd but it was not a strong dark line, just darker than the test line. I have suspected that I may not be ovulating for a while. What do you think?

Oh, and I have never posted my chart, have searched for links on how to and can find no instructions, so, I'm hoping this works. I know there is a way to just post the chart?

That is not your chart. When you go to FF on the left there is a button or tab that says sharing, click that then click my homepage setup. Your personal url is right there just highlight copy and paste. I will check back in a few hours to see if you got it on here, I would love to see it. Let me know if you have any other problems.

I think I got it. I had not signed up to create my own page so that is why I could not figure out where to go! Thank you so much for your reply - I don't think I would have ever found it.

I did get cross hairs this morning with my high temp of 98.00 but please, tell me what you think.

im having computer issues- trying again....

im not sure what you are saying about your opk, but if the test line is darker than the control, it is positive. opks should not be overthunk. that's where people get confused. so it is likely, although not certain that you will o within 48 hours of your last pos opk.

that said, your cm and cp do not line up well. this could easily be a case of new to charting, because it takes a while before these things make sense. if i were you, i would keep tracking cm and cp every day- cp at the same time everyday, if you have fertile cm, take opks, and keep taking your temps. your open circles make it harder to intrepret, too. so just keep on keeping on, when in doubt, dtd- in fact, if you can manage it, just plan to dtd every other day or so, 3 at the most, that way if/when you do o, you will be covered whether you know it or not. good luck!

I am going to agree with FF. With the information I can see it looks like CD18 was it!! Do you have normal cycles or are they all out of wack. Also since you switched thermometers that could through it off a little. I will say CD18 was O but I would still DTD every other day just in case you have not O'd yet.

I would love to DTD every day or every other day during the fertile time :-) but dealing with some male issues, I am happy with our 24 hrs after O!!!

Thanks for your opinions. I will keep at the charting and hopefully next month will be easier. I have never kept track of cp so am just learning that. My cm is a huge issue - this is the first month I have actually had any in a long time - like only one other month in the last 2 yrs.

Do you mean that you BD'd 24 hours after you O'd? Actually, the best day to BD is day before O. I think FF says that 95% of pg's happen with at least 1 BD session in the 3 days preceeding O.

Yes because the egg only lives 24 hours plus the sperm takes a couple hours to make it up there. It's best to have the sperm ready and waiting.
