Pumping 101 - probably a silly question

Hi ladies - this is probably a silly question, but maybe one of you experts can easy my mind. I've started to leave 2.5 mo DS with his nanny 2 days a week for four hours so I can get ready to go back to work, and obviously I need to leave a bottle also. I'm pumping several times a day with varying results - best results after the first morning feeding. However, sometimes I pump and only get an ounce or so, which is fine - it all adds up! My fear, though, is that I'm only getting foremilk. I'm worried about mixing multiple pumpings together and the ratio of fore/hindmilk being off and upsetting his tummy. Any help?

I honestly think that with just two bottles a week, it might not matter that much even if it is mostly foremilk. However, almost certainly you are getting a good mix, but if you're worried about it, you could do breast compressions as you're pumping. (The people who I have heard of having problems with too much foremilk and pumping have had oversupply and get several ounces really quickly.)

For what it's worth, I've kind of struggled with oversupply, letdown, my diet, and my babe's tummy, and it seems like sometimes she takes her bottle of pumped milk 4 times a week better (with less spit up, etc.)
