I am near the end (I think) of an elimination diet I did for ds as he was developing a big case of eczema. The diet was for me as I'm breastfeeding and at 4 mos that is all he gets.
I gave up: wheat, eggs, soy, dairy, citrus, peanuts, corn, the nightshade veggies (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant and peppers)...and ??? I think that's it. I wasn't eating fish anyway so that's been out too and I don't think I had any other nuts either....
Anyway, its been two weeks and the eczema is gone.
So, I was thinking of adding something back in within the next few days or so... (I'll probably wait about 2-3 more just to be sure its truly gone...) but I'm trying to decide what to start with and how many days to wait for the next thing. I was thinking corn for a period of about 3-5 days before adding something else....
anybody think this is ok? Not ok for some reason? thoughts?
